Willie Etta's Miracle Oil is a premium hair growth oil created by Michelle "Bombshell" Perteete. Michelle is a Salon Owner, Real Estate Investor, and one of Rockford, Illinois' Top Beauticians. She started her business from the basement of her home in 2014.
Willie Etta's Miracle Oil was named in honor of Michelle's late maternal grandmother, Mrs. Willie Etta (Bledsoe/Cleaves) Quince. Mrs. Quince was born and raised in Covington, TN by her mother Ruth Ann Cleaves. Her father was James Bledsoe, a 32nd Mason and former TN Sheriff. Her biggest influence was Madam CJ Walker. She had 8 children. Three prior to her marriage and five after her union to Michelle's grandfather, Joe Nell Quince Sr.
Michelle's grandmother was the first Black female entrepreneur in South Beloit, IL. She started her cosmetology services out of her home and later had a salon built next door. She was a loyal and dedicated member of New Zion Baptist Church in Beloit WI, for decades and hosted bible study in her beauty shop weekly.
She made frequent trips to Monroe, WI on Mondays for one of her enjoyable hobbies of shopping. She loved her hats! She always opened her doors to those in need. She was a very active grandmother that was loved by everyone she came in touch with. To show her appreciation for the significant impact her grandmother's work had on her life, Michelle chose to honor her memory by naming her hair oil after her so that her grandmother's legacy could continue to live on.
